I have a few inquiries to make regarding my eligibility to sit for exams in the ACCA Qualification.
I am from Nepal and I first enrolled in ACCA in Jan, 2012 studying for Diploma in Accounting and Business (FAB, FMA, FFA). It was while I was going through my A-Level qualification, so naturally I used my O-Level / Grade 10 / CBSE certificate and transcript to register in ACCA (it was then possible to do so). I was to sit for the June, 2012 exams for the aforementioned subjects when a life-altering incident forced me to move and work in Japan. I was ‘Absent’ for all 3 papers as you can see in this pic (https://image.ibb.co/kK8tEK/Screen_Shot_20180928142608.png).
I returned back to Nepal in June, 2018 and now want to pursue ACCA again. All this time, I have been paying the annual subscription fee in the ACCA Portal, so my registration is alive.
I, so far, have covered the Kaplan FAB and FMA course materials and am planning to sit for the CBEs in October. But, found out it was impossible to book my exams through the ACCA website. Only options I can see are for the CAT exams, FAU etc.
Here are some of my questions, please bear with me:
1. Am I still eligible to sit for the CBEs of Diploma Level, FAB / FFA / FMA exams ? Will I be sitting for FAB or F1 ? FMA or F3 ? Mind you, I never finished my A-Level. So, should I be sitting any other complimentary exams before sitting the Diplomas or can I sit for the Diplomas directly? CBEs can be booked directly at the exam centres here, is what I’ve heard.
2 . Will I be able to sit for F4 after passing the Diploma papers ?
Toiled a lot to find the answers to my questions online, but just couldn’t so here I am asking you.
Waiting for your response folks ….
Thanks!
December 17, 2018 at 8:45 pm #492153Hi,
My question is that if i give a little break in Acca studies for a while, would that be possible because i want to gain some work experience for the time being on my graduation basis. Please let me know about the restraints and every possibility for this situation. I cleared 4 exams and don’t want to ditch it. And also is there any time limit to complete Acca like 5 years, 6 years, 7 years etc to complete it within. Let me know at your earliest convenience. Your response will be much appreciated.
Thanks
