Hello, ACCA changed exam entry deadline into slots of early, standard and late.
Please go to MyACCA and click on exam entry you will see. There are charges and even INCREASED charges in June 2012.

But i have an objection that the earliest closing should be 30 September and 30 March not 8? So angry!:@

oh boy , they really introduced a big change! Thanks for the information.

i’m more then sure that it will be announced many times.
You guys just noticed it so quickly 🙂

Well, this is definately just to motivate people to register for their exams earlier.
9-10 pounds is not a big loss for them , but might be a big motivation for students to pay well beforehand.

@Ansi but the earliest deadline should not be SO early. It should be untill 20 or 30 March and September because many students aren’t prepared to pay sometimes. So angry!

    @adeelkhan,

well first of all , it was not me who set those dates and fees.

8th September is indeed early ,but 9 -10 pounds of difference is not a critical sum.
I think many students don’t even notice that it’s just 9 pounds. They just see the differnce in price and consider it not fair.

Fees increase each year and I according to invoices, before this June I paid 72 GBP for each skills level exam.

Now if you pay before early deadline, you have the chance to pay even LESS then this amount , 69! and did anyone really expect that fees will go down?
and if anyone can’t pay so early, then you simply pay a bit more then in june, which is 76 , because fees will grow and keep growing.

But an interesting thing is that although standard fees keep growing, there will be same early fees for june 2012 . And if someone can’t pay early this time, they can prepare and pay early next time.

you know , i’m sure ACCA was getting much more annoyed and angry then all of you now, when many students tried to pay on 15th oct / april when site is so busy and then complaining how bad ACCA work and that it’s not fair, that they have to pay additional feels for late registration.

There are diferent situations in life. And for sure there are many students who really struggle just to get money to pay those fees. But everyone knows that they got two deadlines a year. So all the rest of the year it’s possible to save little by little and pay beforehand …or at worst to borrow from someone and again pay beforehand.
It’s not something unexpected, it’s a fixed deadline that everyone is aware about.

however, every session it was the same story again and again …
well, let’s see now better or worse situation will become now.

I am sure , if situation will get worse, then with time new change will be introduced.

P.S. here i should say, that i’m same student who will have to pay same fees. And after all those books that i will hardly manage to acquire before September, this payment will be a tough thing to manage. But at least we all found out about it now and not in September. So there is time to prepare.
