Hi everyone
I am a Hong Kong ACCA student and take P3 exam today.
During the reading time of 15 min. The examiner stated that I use an unauthorized calculator as it displays ‘texts’
(My calculator is Casio FC-200V)
After the exam, I write a report to explain about the case.
I just wonder is it allowed to use it as many scientific/Financial calculators display ‘texts’
Thanks everyone
ACCA does not publish a list of approved calculators (the make name etc)
what they do publish is general rule:
You are not permitted to use a dictionary or an electronic translator of any kind or have on or at your desk a calculator which can store or display text.
