Congrats to everyone
Finally passed with 53 and now I am an affiliate. I was in tears for hours as this qualification is the hardest thing I have ever done. Best news for me during this pandemic.
For those who need to retake please try again. The one thing I changed to pass is I sought a private tutor. Search Fme online for Mustafa Muchhala. He marked a number of my scripts and offered amazing advice. Would not have passed without him .Went from 39 December to 53 now. Was scared of this paper as many people retake it so many times. But I peserverd and it worked out
April 13, 2020 at 8:47 am #567789Didn’t pass. 43 this time. 47 in June 2019 and 40 in March 2019. Thought i had did it quite well. Was expecting 55-60. Attempted it fully (didn’t skip any questions) and there wasn’t even a single topic which i was not comfortable with. Even completed the Value Based Management question completely 🙁 Must be due to less practice of past papers! I have only this one left to become an affiliate and have been trying for the past 1 year now (3 attempts).
April 13, 2020 at 8:54 am #567792First time pass with 58%. Shocked as I was sure of a fail due to being unprepared for question 2 and forgetting to finish question 3! Finally finished with my ACCA studies ?? With 3 exams completed in 9 months, it’s been a hard year and it’s over! Shame I can’t leave the house to celebrate! Well done on everyone who passed and don’t give up everyone else.
April 13, 2020 at 8:56 am #567793Failed first attempt with 47!! Couldn’t believe, the exam didn’t seem that bad…
April 13, 2020 at 9:32 am #567809Thanks to OpenTuition i got through this. Reallly grateful for the content as physical classroom lectures don’t suit my work/life balance AT ALL! OpenTuition lectures & notes gave me the confidence to work through past papers and this guided me towards structure of answers and hitting key points (well 57% of them anyway!!)
On to the next one and hope all that have not got it this time round can push on for the next. If i can do it, you can do it!

Can someone guide me how to tackle or revise APM ? 3rd attempt fail got 40 , 43 and 43 March also. Please help.I’d never claim to be an expert in study guides as i struggle myself but for this exam i went through the OpenTuition lectures alongside the notes and wrote out the multiple formulae and models i thought i should know. I got an understanding of each and how it might be asked in an exam question and even though they didn’t come up as i had anticipated in march i was able to use aplied knowledge that learning the many models had taught me. I printed off past papers and read through the format of certain recurring questions (question 1 report) to get the style of answer expected and this may have helped me a lot. KEEP TRYING PAST PAPERS and you’ll do fine as questions are broadly similar throughout the years. You’re not alone and you’ll get there.
April 13, 2020 at 10:33 am #567830Hi,
I too failed, 47 marks. Any idea about admin reviews? Checked few ACCA forums, feedback is not so good, most negative comments.
Anyone had a positive response, you get a pass mark after the review?
Thank you
April 13, 2020 at 11:21 am #567864I too am thinking the same thing, got 47 and I expected better, my final exam and the only subject that I have failed among the professional papers, is it a good idea, someone?

April 13, 2020 at 1:07 pm #567902APM PASSED THRILLED. What a journey it has been finally an ACCA AFFILIATE SO PROUD AFTER ALL THE HARD WORK AND EFFORT PUT IN. It’s been a long journey but totally worth it.
April 13, 2020 at 1:09 pm #567904Don’t give up you can do it. Practice more papers and you will smash it. Only one to go smash it in September good luck and all the best.
April 13, 2020 at 1:22 pm #567911Hi, Passed APM with 50 marks, First Attempt. Finally an Affiliate.
April 13, 2020 at 1:25 pm #567914not sure what ACCA want me to write in exam. i have lost count of retakes i have done. i have one attempt left if i don’t pass in September than i will end up having 1 more exam to pass on top of APM. everything seems slipping away.
April 13, 2020 at 1:37 pm #567926passed 4th attempt, 62%. Up from 41% last time. The difference? Tuition. Learning how much to write per point (2 sentences), and how to pull numerous different albeit maybe similar or related points out of the scenario … a real skill. And that verb “evaluate” – bring in pros AND cons AND a conclusion/recommendation. Gives a framework for producing ideas and points. Also brief definitions of terms or descriptions of theory for 1-2 marks (only where the terms have not already been described in the scenario) – ONLY BRIEF! But easy 1 or 2 marks so make sure to get them..
I advise anyone who failed to do tuition – I used platinum school Accountancyschool. Wherever you choose, make sure you choose a reputed and experienced tutor, who you can get answers corrected to exam standard with feedback. I self-studied almost all papers, but for APM and SBL (similar to APM) I needed tuition.
April 13, 2020 at 1:44 pm #567937Why do you say that you will have to sit another exam after September?

Hi Cathal I’m so happy for you. You don’t have to sit ATX. The gamble was worth it. Best of luck on your career

April 13, 2020 at 2:38 pm #567975Failed; 45%, didn’t think I did well timing got me, I need more question practice. Plenty of time until Sept, congratulations to those who passed – well done.
April 13, 2020 at 4:55 pm #568043Failed with 46 marks, this was my third attempt, I previously got 36 in June and 38 in Dec 2019.
This is my last exam and I am not giving up, I am so close. I would just like to remind everyone who failed, to just remain positive, revise, do exam questions over and over, and expand on areas you didn’t fully understand.I was feeling positive after the exam and answered all the questions fully, but what I wrote wasn’t good enough. It is all a learning experience, we need to push ourselves further.
Most exams are cancelled for June, so we have a lot of time to regroup and prepare for September.
Congrats to everyone that passed!!
April 13, 2020 at 5:12 pm #568051By the grace of my God and Lord Jesus Christ cleared APM in first attempt with 53 marks . All praises to my God Jesus Christ.
Also I would like to thank open tution for all free resources as it was really a great help for me as I was struggling financially.April 13, 2020 at 6:33 pm #568070Failed 47% my second attempt. 44% on my first attempt! ? i hope i get it next time. Congratulations on everyone that passed! well done to you all, to those like me who failed, what choice do we have? don’t give up, we will pass too next time ?
April 13, 2020 at 8:21 pm #568094What did you do differently? I failed APM, twice now. The knowledge is super easy and apply the knowledge is super easy. BUT, applying the knowledge to the scenario in this exam seems impossible for me. Any advice?

Delighted to see you got there too – it’s that bit sweeter when you stick with it and persevere, well done! And best wishes for your career too, it’s now we will both get lift off with these exams down!
