    Hi,

    How is the accounting profession going through the recession? Are most ACCA accountants still employed or are many losing and finding other jobs instead. Your help is appreciated.

    try to have your own firm and you will never be laid off. that’s what i plan to do. in singapore small business consultancy companies are doing well, they all have at least one cpa sitting on board, that what i know.

    Recession has badly affected small island economies. My company couldn’t do much n I was laid off.. Just to bad !
