Hi everyone, I started ACCA a while back, got 2 exemptions but have actually never sat any exam yet. My account/membership expiring 2016.
Any idea what happens after the 10 years, has anything changed?
And because I have work, family commitments, I was wondering whether to restart everything and just do AAT, just to get an entry level job and it will refresh my accounting knowledge.
I know I sound confused ACCA/AAT, but it might all depends on whether I get enough time to complete my ACCA.
Thank you for any reply.September 23, 2014 at 2:42 pm #196054after 10 years you’d have to restart ACCA ignoring papers you’ve passed. with Acca changing for 4 exam sittings in a year (3 next year) it is possible to write 2 Computer based exams and say F5 in December, then 3 papers in June, 2 in September and 3 in December next year depending on how hard you are willing to work and if you are a full time student or not.
that would only leave 1 or 2 P options for 2016 if i am not mistaken.Or you could just start you AAT right away but remember that completing the F papers in ACCA is just as good as getting full membership in AAT.
Good luck!
