    I do not understand how:

    Direct labour cost per unit
    Direct material cost per unit

    have been calculated?

    You must not post links like this because of copyright laws – the pages are copyright of Kaplan.

    I do not have the Kaplan Study Text (only the BPP Revision Kit) and if you are watching my free lectures then you do not really need the Study Text because the lectures are a complete free course and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well.

    Given that illustration 2 is giving addition information to illustration 1, then the material and labour costs will have come from illustration 1.
