Hello, are there any additional resources to understand ABC a little more in detail. Looking at the examples in the free lecture notes vs the CBE exams and they are at 2 different levels of difficulty so I am confused!

There are not two levels of difficulty at all. Obviously questions on all topics are phrased in lots of different ways because the purpose of the exam is to check your understanding of the topics rather than check that you have simply learned rules.

I assume that you are not just using the lecture notes without watching the free lectures that go with them? That would be completely pointless as is stated in the notes. They are lectures notes – not a study text – and it is the lectures that I work through the examples in the notes and explain and expand on the notes. If you are not watching the lectures for any reason then you must buy a Study Text from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers and Study from there.

However you choose to study, it is essential that you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers. They are full of past-exam and other exam standard questions for practice after you have finished your studying, and practice is vital to passing the exam. The questions available on the ACCA website are not enough.

As always, if you have any problems with either the lectures or with questions in your Revision Kit, then ask in this forum and I will explain.
