    Hi Mike,

I understand from your lectures thus far, that it is ok to abbreviate to SOFP, SOCI etc for both your answer and workings. However, I am keen to understand to what extent abbreviation is acceptable throughout my answers? Im really talking here about, for example using “inv” for inventory and “Rec” for receivables etc.

Can you please confirm if this is ok or not?

    Thanks

Hi – personally I would abbreviate any and all items in a set of fin stats ( except tax!)

When it comes to a non-number question, I would be more reluctant to abbreviate, particularly a question where there are professional marks available

    That’s great Mike. Thank you.
This should speed me up in exams!
