    Hi sir,

Hope you’re well. Could you please help me select the AAA variant? I want to be able to work in the UK as an auditor but I’m not from the UK.. which is why I’m confused if I should pick the UK variant or the international.

ACCA website says this: “Please note that if you wish to obtain the audit qualification in order to practise as a registered auditor within the UK and/or Ireland you must attempt the AAA UK/Irish version of the exam”.

I’ve studied the international variant of SBR and I asked the same question before for SBR and it is kinda dumb of me to ask it again but I would really appreciate clarity on if the UK variant is important to work as an auditor in the UK, or if I pick the UK variant my scope in other countries would decrease..

To be employed in an audit firm does not require an individual to be a “registered auditor” – only if you were to become a partner in a firm signing auditor’s reports would you need to have passed AAA-UK rather than INT. See my similar comments here https://opentuition.com/topic/aaa-int-vs-uk
