Hi Kim,
I have done two weeks on AAA went through all lectures and revision lectures. Now thinking to signing up a course to do AAA in September, will this be enough to pass first time? I studied 6 months for SBR and just passed at 50%. Please advise?
Thanks
IKJuly 17, 2024 at 7:54 am #708604Identify all the exams available in the CBE practice platform – you should aim to work through all of these in your revision – as well as the pre-session mock which will be available c. 3 weeks before the exam. For every exam/question, you should allow at least as much time for review/marking/assessment of the quality of your answer/revising points/clarifying any misconceptions as for attempting it. Initially you can attempt in more time than is indicated by the marking scheme, but all final question practice, including the mock, should be done strictly to time.
You can find some guidance on how to debrief/self-mark here https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p7/cbe-question-practice.html
You should also use examiner’s reports https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/professional-exams-study-resources/p7/examiners-reports1.html
But before you embark on the above, attempt some Qs from your revision kit (if you have one) or the Study Hub – the practice questions include exam style and standard Qs on all major topics and also have clear making guides including professional exam marks,
Only you can decide if you can do sufficient practice to be confident on passing at a first attempt in 6 weeks.
