I completed 50% of my syllabus. Is it possible to give my ACCA exam on Audit and Assurance paper that takes place on 03 of March 2025? Do I have sufficient time to practice questions?
Your advice are highly appreciated
January 28, 2025 at 7:23 am #715022How long has it taken you to “complete” 50%? Which 50%? Although a candidate does not need to have studied every topic to be able to pass “Section B of the exam will predominantly examine one or more aspects of audit and assurance from planning and risk assessment, internal control or audit evidence, although topics from other syllabus areas may also be included.” (See the approach to examining in the syllabus https://www.accaglobal.com/uk/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f8/syllabus-study-guide.html”
“planning and risk assessment, internal control or audit evidence” covers syllabus areas B, C & D – which is about 65% of the topics in the syllabus.
And have you done ANY question practice yet? Even MCQs? Such as our end-of-chapter practice tests https://opentuition.com/acca/aa/aa-practice-questions – or the chapter quizzes in ACCA’s Study Hub?
There’s a 5 minute video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rSL5I9_Mw-g – I suggest you find 5 minutes to watch it – if the content looks/sounds completely alien that would suggest that you need more study.
Please note that this is the general forum – you need to use an AA forum for AA-specific questions.
