Hi All,
I hope that you are keeping well.
Just a quick question to all of you.
Today I have received a call (UK number) from ACCA at 18.30pm UK time.
When I answered it there was a dead-tone dial for a moment at the other end. Finally someone answered. The person on the phone told me that she wants to discuss my study progress. She asked me to verify my email address. When I asked her what it is about she said that until I confirm my email address she cannot tell my anything. I asked her to send me an email with the info then she said that this only a courtesy call and she can ring me some other day and she said goodbye.Has anyone had experienced something similar? It is very weird for me as I have never received any call from ACCA before.
I have send an email to ACCA in order to verify this call. Thanks for your help!

it’s funny how they can’t tell you anything until you confirm your detail but when asked to send an email hung-up with a silly excuse! she phoned you so she’s supposed to tell who she is and what’s it regarding………. my be some tuition provider trying to sell off a course or something pretending to be ACCA partner or something……. wonder how she got your number though…… these people really do scare me…
I would’ve done the same – reporting it to ACCA.
You better not to click on any email from unknown addresses!
Did you google the number to see if any negative comments for it ?
