A general question about marking.

in the multiple choice questions for instance there is 2 mark available for matching for instance four theories with four writers. if you divide by 4 it will come to 0.5 mark per correct matching would you for example get what ever 0.5 you get right or will you lose for instance the whole 2 mark for getting 1 wrong for example.
