Hi, I’ve been attending my f6 classes which have so far proved to be useless with tuition fees wasted due to lack of quality tutors
Cannot name them to the ACCA UK as we are then threatened and the institution’s reputation goes down bla bla. So remaining anonymous, is there a way i can pass f6 this sitting in June or is it too late ? now that there is a month left ! even 50 marks would do, just wanna clear it !
If you are a Full Time Student then OT Notes along with Kaplan Exam kit is enough to pass, yes you can do it in 30 days, Focus on Income Tax Computation and Corporation Tax, If you work hard they both could be done in 15 days, The next 5 days you can give time to Chargeable Gains or capital gains, in the Last days study Inheritance Tax and VAT, they are fairly easy, but the most important point is that you MUST ATTEMPT QUESTIONS IN KAPLAN EXAM KIT, I REPEAT KAPLAN EXAM KIT, I found it to be very important and best for F6 because their style of answering the questions is easy and understandable, next is upto you…..
The Worst Part of F6 Exams =
1)Syllabus is too Long
2)So Much to learn, many topics usually comes mixed in a question which can create a bit confusion
The Best Part of F6 Exams is =
1)Not much Logic Involved, it is fairly easy and straight forward airthematical Calculations, Practicing enough exam questions will gaurantee a Pass
2)Since its Straightforward airthametic examiner cannot trick you enough to cause panic

Basically, I have been following up with my syllabus been self-studyin bcuz in class all of us students have blank faces ! but yes i am now almost done with BPP text ( VAT, INheritence, Chargeable gains for Corporations tax is left)
i Do have the kaplan kit and BPP as well (Although BPP so far has been really complicated, it just takes a while to understand what BPP is trying to explain ! may be its just me who finds B** that way but I just do)Anyways thank u so much fr that above ^^^ reply… I may just clear it bcuz of ur 5 line free answer that has explained me more than my 20+ classes for which i PAID for !!

Actually I had worst experience with Paper F6 and I do not want any other student to face it 🙂 here is my little bit of experience
I gave F6 Paper in June 2013 and failed, but I passed in 2nd Attempt in December 2013, The Reason I got Failed Earlier and Passed Later was:
1) I Used BPP Text Book and BPP Exam Kit in (June 2013)
2) I had not practiced Enough questions or you can say that I had not practiced it according to the way it should be practiced (June 2013)I Passed in December 2013 as I had then solely used Kaplan Exam kit and Open Tuition notes as study text and never looked upon BPP. To be very honest BPP is a good Publisher but the wordings and examples they use in study text and even exam kit is a lot trickier, but for F6 BPP is the Worst I found and Kaplan is the best (I cannot say about kaplan study text as I had not studied from it) but kaplan Exam kit is Quite Interesting, in each and every answer on exam kit they explain that how they arrived to that answer in such an easy way that you gotta love it and then found the content Quite Easy, My advice is that either you study from kaplan study text or not but OT Notes + Kaplan Exam kit is the best Combination to help you pass the exam quite easily, NEVER EVER PASS ON KAPLAN EXAM KIT, I found it to be Crucially Important preparing for F6 Just Try it and you’ll thank me again in future 😀

even i m self studying f6 as i cannot find a good tutor. this june session will be my third attempt and i really hope i clear it this time!
i needed a little help, i wanted the updated questions from kaplan book on the topic of corporation tax. because at this last minute i cannot find the updated kaplan revision kit. i have it for 2012 session. will the 2012 kit help me enough to pass?wow hamzaharoon, that was very encouraging!

I need to pass F5 even a 50% would. How can i capture everything in one month?
@zoezoe NO! Get an Updated revision Kit, Buy from market or take it from a friend (If he or she has), If not then I do not recommend to buy Pirated ones but you must buy it(Only If you do not find Orignall since you don’t have enough time), Practicing from 2012 means you will be failed as there are many additions and subtractions in F6 every year and new rates must be applied, so buy new 2014 edition ASAP and start practicing, since its your third attempt, you might have chance to revise quickly
@goitri You don’t even have a month to prepare!!! Start Watching John Lectures and Practice Past questions as much as you can ASAP! If you have a good picking power then you can pass otherwise…………
