Hi,
I got 49% in F8 thought i done better than that.
Would it be worth my while going for a recheck or just accepting it and get into studying it again for December
August 31, 2011 at 6:38 pm #87117All scripts are now scanned and marked on line. The software adds up your score automatically so little chance of error there.
Asking for a recheck does not get it remarked, so I’m not sure what the process now provides.
It’s really frustrating to have just missed by 1 mark, but I suggest you proceed to retaking in Dec with an emphasis on doing questions and trying to have them marked by someone. Look for question-based revision days or mock exam services.

October 24, 2011 at 4:25 am #87119can u please tell me what is the different between family and personal relationship(self-interest) and familiarity threat ..?
October 24, 2011 at 7:03 am #87120They are similar. Family and personal relationships will fairly probably lack objectivity and professional scepticism.
Familiarity threats arise because if you were a company ‘s auditor fo 10 years then you are likely to become trusting and complacent and will again lack objectivity and professional scepticism. This could be made worse if the long association also led to friendship between, say, auditor and finance director.
