I know this question might seem odd, but I am just wondering, whether there is a chance of passing for someone who got 49.5?

Yes, half marks do not appear on the summary page at the start of your answer book so any half marks in a question will be rounded up to a full mark. Instead of recording a mark as 15.5, it will be on the summary page as 16

    Dear Mike,

What if, for example, I get 5.25 from 10 points question, how this mark will be recorded then?

Why are you asking this question in the first place, you get 50 you pass, it could be 49.5 or 50, a pass is a pass
