I have 4 more papers to go, just want to have it finished quickly, do you think I can try to study 4 papers (P2,3,5&7) in 4 month time?

Well, it depends on your commitment and your ability to keep your nerves intact. The time for standard exam entry is 08-Oct-2012. So, i guess, you can try by starting 4 subjects and see whether in a month are u able to hold to a schedule properly and make progress at all fronts.
But, its without any doubt that its gonna be though job, if u have what it takes to be an extra-ordinary, then, why not give it a try. 🙂

My friend took 4 papers and he actually broke down, not passing all 4. Better specialize in two rather than become a ‘jack of all papers’.

To all of you . ACCA has no hurry . you just do two and do it well. You might think you want to finish earlier but end up taking long . Especially P7 and P5 needs a lot of reading even P2. Look at your schedules well and decide but remember this papers are not walkovers .

Finally i decided to try the last 4 papers, i took p2, p3, p5 & p7 in Dec. 2012. It was my first attempt! I have a 9 to 5 job, and 2 kids – aged 1 year and 2 years. I worked hard for it! I passed P2, p3 and P7, except p5, i only prepared it for 1 week, i am not surprised that i didn’t make it this time. I will try it again in June. I think it’s good to have strong determination, and try to work towards the goal, you know yourself the best! DON’T let others tell you what you can or can’t do!
Congratulations to the one who worked for it and passed!

Hi Ericka, congrats!!!! I was thinking of doing my last 3 P papers in 3 and half months. May take class for P4 and P7 and self study for P1. Please share your experience. Do you think it is possible to do it especially self study P1? Thanks.

Hi good morning, if you think you will have time, and you WANT to do the last 3 at one go! Then do it! You may be surprised to see you pass 3 in June!

I did all my papers self study, believe it or not, i passed P7 at my first attempt, and without tuition and withou a BOOK. Taking classes will help a lot! I studied P1 in one month! You can do it!

I still have my last paper P5 to take! Hope i can pass in June!

    Good luck to all!
    Ericka
