sir i know the concept of the 3Es but my ans related to this always wrong..
Q:Def co provides accounting services to government departments.on evg,each staff member works six chargeable hours per day,with the rest of their working day being spent on non-chargeable administrative work.one of the company,s main objective is to produce high level of quality and customer satisfaction.
TARGETS ARE
1:cutting department expenditure by 5%
2:increase the num of chargeable hours handled by advisers to 6.2 per day
3:obtaining a score of 4.7 or above on customers satisfaction surveys
Which of the above targets assess economy,efficiency and effectiveness at DEFco??
PLz explain the correct ans and why it is so..
It would seem that you have not watched my lectures, because I do spend time explaining the 3E’s. (The lectures are a complete free course for Paper F5 and cover everything needed to be able to pass the exam well).
Economy is getting resources at the best price – so target 1.
Efficiency is getting the most from the resources – so target 2 (the more the advisors work, the more we are getting from them)
Effectiveness is achieving success in what we are trying to do – so target 3, getting better customer satisfaction.
