It’s so amazing to hear that people are passing. I will be writing FA in December this year. Am asking for advice on how I can make it. Am currently using open tuition notes and videos. Thank you

I prepared for FA in 8 days (not advisable but due to some constraints) by watching all the free lecture videos, as well as combining it with the free lecture notes. I also did the revision class which is a solution to the ACCA specimen exam. To conclude, I did the opentuition mock exam.

I had 65% in FA when I wrote the exam. A fair result given limited preparation. In my opinion, I think it is less “difficult” compared to MA but entails a lot more information to remember.

@karinamone. FA is a very easy exam. Open tuition lectures, notes and one of BPP/Kaplan revision kit is enough to pass this exam well. I used BPP revision kit and john’s lectures. If you have a very good understanding about A level Accounting, then this exam is as easy as drinking a glass of water. Make sure to practice more questions on consolidated financial statements as I found this part on every exam. If you follow john’s instructions, you will pass this exam with a very good score (You might even get a 85+ score). Good luck for your ACCA journey.

Had the exam today and pass. Just want to show my gratitude to Mr John who made the lectures very structured and easy to understand!

Section B: Consolidated group accounting and Cash flow exercises.

SOFP and SPL is a must to know together with understanding the principles for depreciation; share capital, premium, bonus; reevaluation, and so on.

Make sure to do revision kit and ACCA online exams after you finish the Open Tuition mock exam, in order to improve your time.

2 Hours are enough even if you do not feel so in the beginning, but I did not have much time to revise at the end. But do not rush because you might make mistakes – calmly find the answer to each question. Good luck!

Mr. John – Thank you very much Sir ! Passing MA and FA it is all thanks to you! You are a great teacher ! Looking forward to PM lectures! <3

I had failed it once due to an illness phase. This time I am confident enough to go for the CBE with sufficient preparation 🙂 Any advice or study tips please?
