Hi sir,
I have questions regarding to Q1 a, the first mentioned company-Power of the sun company.
I wonder how the figures come from, which are different from what we can seek from the case. Besides, how can we get the market share figures if we have not given the industry figures. I am very confused.
“Gross profit has fallen in each of the last four reported periods (from 25% to 21%). Net profit has fallen in line (from 11·04% to 7·00%) and is now less than half that of the company’s heyday…….In the last two years, when the market has grown by only 0·5%, the company has increased its market share from 25% to 30%”
