Hi mike, could you check my understanding please?
If an entity has one investment which meets the definition of an associate, how do they account for it in their own records?
My understanding is they can’t use the equity method because they don’t have a subsidiary so don’t do group accounts. Therefore would the investment be at cost only?
Thanks
Agreed!
