No NPV no WAVC no buy or lease…

Got equivalent annual cost question for 2 machines

Anddd a working capital question about short term and long term finances, with a couple theory questions

Nothing like any of the mocks (I’ve done like 5)

Definitely didn’t get below 40% but was a hard exam

@msiraj87 Same, got a positive NPV, 2.6 (I think) payback period and the factoring was more profitable

Section B were tough on that one, section A was alright

Section C was analysis of 2 options, option 1 was factoring and the effect it has on investment, option 2 was Miller method and a ton of theory questions about Miller method

Other section C was NPV with probability alongside a theory question about risk and uncertainty

Could’ve been easier and it could’ve been harder….

Had the learning rate with labour variances for section C with the access the performance for Pets4All (20 marks) – could’ve wrote more but think I did enough for atleast 15/20 on that one

Section B was Limited factor (I’m hoping it was Throughput method), Absorption rate (they had some cost centres as batch numbers and others as units to trick you) and the last I’m sure was a learning rate section about building houses

Section A was a mix of lot more theory, but was decent all around

P.S. Shoutout to the guys who sat the exam at 6pm with me since we had to be redirected to a different centre cause of a “powercut” even though the power was working just fine O.o

Exam was a lot easier this time but weird at the same time. Since I did PM 2 days ago it wasn’t so bad for me but Section C tested an analysis of 2 projects with different life cycles, then part b was questioning on the Efficiency (One of the 3 Es), the 2nd section C was cash flows

There’s 4 past papers on the ACCA platform for PM, Paper 1, 2, Specimen paper and Dec 21 Mock. Out of all 4 papers only like 5% came up in this exam.

Should I be doing the past paper exams from somewhere else if it’s this pointless?

That mock exam they released for this month was pointless, literally nothing came up or similar to what was on there, got the 3 EEs I’m good at writing so feel confident about that, then 2nd question for section c I can’t really remember, only got 1 variance question for section b, elasticity came up clueless about that.

    Gonna be a close one

So frustrating when they give you something random in section C,

I had Tree Decisions, explain the process and what the numbers means
And ROI & RI questions for the other Section C

Section B was weird too, no variance, Bottleneck, Minimax, learning curve questions

Section A was decent, other than that…

Might just stop doing 3 years of past papers questions and instead do random questions
