    Hi Hussain,

I have always had similar problem with all the ACCA papers. 15 Mins are never enough for me.
Just to let you know, I cleared P3 first attempt. I believe understanding the question right leads you to answer the question right.
    This is what I do.
Section A – Read question quick and jot down quick points – whatever first comes to on mind.
Section B – Skim through the choice by first reading the requirement. Skip out the one I wouldn’t wanna try (if I’m unsure of the choice,I read all the options quick and jot doen points again)
When the actual time begins, I read the question once again, understanding each line loud and clear and highlight few points (This would take up few minutes of mine but when I start writing the answers, I am very sure what I am writing. I don’t keep reading the whole question again but yes, I do keep referring to the jotted points.
There has been occasions when I ran out of time, all I do is then finish the answer in points format than essays.
Using above, I have never left any question unanswered.
I know we all have different styles. So see what is best for you but always remember, the key is first to understand the question than to answer.

    Hi,

I wonder what consideration do you expect from ACCA
    1. Postponed exam dates for you considering you have flu &/or
    2. Be lenient in marking your paper and give you few extra marks considering you have flu for a week out of minimum six months study time that you get…

    Anxiously awaiting your response.

    Hi All,

I was in the same dilemma in 2009 after the conversion and so I emailed ACCA and here is the reply
“If you wish to be considered for the Oxford Brookes scheme you will need to pass F4 before attempting F7, F8 or F9, therefore the combination of F4 & F7 in the same examination session you have suggested is not possible unless you have a previous qualification which meets the English requirement, the reason for this is that should you pass both papers your eligibility will automatically be withdrawn.”

My case was different as earlier 1.3 used to serve as proof of English proficiency which I had cleared before syllabus conversion so I sat F4 and F7 together and passed both in same attempt and I have BSc. in hand now.

    Hope this will be helpful.

I have never experienced any such problem…but if I were you I wouldn’t be worried…
If it were a reverse scenario (email received and site saying not submitted) I would be worried…

I am resubmitting my RAP and the word count has gone up (from 6,400 to 8,000) Can anyone guide me if this will be a problem or not.
(A friend says “During re submission you are not allowed to delete the older text from the project, so if the marker asks you to add anything it increases the word count. This is not a problem.”)
    I need guidance please
