I’ve been a LSBF student for less than a year. It was cool for the first half of the year, until this march when the course opened for June session. I found the notes super thin, and the lecturer recording less detailed. It gave me the sense that they were not really doing their part on helping student getting the knowledge. Francis was a good lecturer though. Almost all of their lecturers are not accountant by trade.
I’ve also worked in private schools in Singapore. When I found out the LSBF scams few minutes ago, I felt everything was so familiar. Those Brits and the Singaporeans, they are just the same in this regard. The LSBF scams are everyday episodes in private schools in Singapore. Maybe those Singaporeans learnt that skill from the Brits, maybe the other way round.
I just want to laugh.
I took the free paper left from previous session and paid for one more paper. I was learning the two papers until a moment ago when I realized the interactive website was down. They don’t own me anything, I am lucky.
January 19, 2013 at 8:45 pm #113945i don’t know if in USA the ACCA qualification is in so much use. when I took the exam last december, there were only few people comparing when I was doing it in singapore, thousands were there for one sitting.
January 19, 2013 at 8:43 pm #113944try to have your own firm and you will never be laid off. that’s what i plan to do. in singapore small business consultancy companies are doing well, they all have at least one cpa sitting on board, that what i know.
December 18, 2012 at 12:10 am #111530your next best option is to buy the bpp ebook for as little as 16 pound sterling. but it takes days for them to delivery a link to download the ebook.
December 13, 2012 at 12:52 am #111527i wrote this during my lecture when the instructor kept making eye contacts with me. so correcting me or adding some comments would be much appreciated.
November 18, 2012 at 10:39 am #98961(90000-10000)/10=8000
90000-8000*3=66000
(66000-8000)/(10-3+3)=5800
after 3 years the policy is changed, so depn charge for year 3 is 8000 is im not misinterpreting. depn charge in year 4 is 5800 due to the policy change.October 7, 2012 at 8:15 pm #54628I am currentlt in USA now and interested in becoming CPA in this country. August 30, 2010 at 6:44 am #67395Hi ansi, nice to meet you here. Your answer is helpful. Thank you. I found the only two official publishers of ACCA study text from the ACCAGLOBAL are kaplan and BPP. So far I have not taken any exam yet. Is tony’s textbook not on the list? Seems I need some kaplan book as well.
