    Examiner says:
    If you score between 30-40: means you lack both knowledge and Exam technique.
    If you score between 45-50: You have knowledge, but you lack Exam technique.

    The application of knowledge according to scenario is important.
    Answers need to be explained enough (thats what i’m struggling with btw).
    Read, and Re-reading is important, i just figured it out, this helps you remember and connect lots of concepts and explanations.
    Also, spending more time on single mark than necessary is also the reason of continuous failures.

    Passed! Thanks @trephena , I could have calculated the unrelated ratios to service industry (i-e Airline Industry), as i had no ideas about performance measures of Airline industry, reading all your comments and discussing with you got me through it.

    @trephena
    Is that ok to write Questions in SLS or it should be written in long essay of 2000 words without any question on top?

    @trephena
    Thanks for your guidance all along. One little thing i wanna clear,I have used different colors and styles for all graphs of my ratios. Do all my charts/graphs need to be in same color and style? or i can use different models. Coz i have seen some online mentor websites discouraging use of different colors and different styles. Secondly, i have written my in RAP in ‘ defualt Calibri font’, though the size is between 10 to 12 for headings and descriptions. Should it be Aerial? or is it acceptable in this font as well?
    Thanks!

    Hi, thanks for your pormpt replies and guidance.

    My que is, can i use asset turnover ratio to explain aircraft utilisation? Is that ok, or both are different and need to be calculated differently.

    @trephena @darkangel5 hi,
    Thanks for your supporting comments so far guys. I’ve been following this thread for a while.

    I was doing Ratio analysis for QANTAS and Virgin airways, problem is couldn’t find some figures for some ratios. Like, Cost of Sales figures is not given in FSs, so i cant calculate Gross profit accurately, similarly i cant calculate inventory days ratio and creditors days ratio coz cost of sales figures isn’t shown in FS. Although there is a long list of Expenditures mentioned there, still i don’t know exactly at this stage what accurately is included in cost of sales figure. Need some helpful suggestions.

    Also do suggest if not these ratios, what other ratios can be used instead. Thanks!
