Lucky you! You should’ve seen the one I had. Had to juggle 3 or more companies in each case study, way too many variables for 3 hours!!!
March 12, 2022 at 9:08 am #651140My exact sentiments. AFN would make more sense of it were like SBL. One case study. But to do three case studies in 3 hours is torture!!!! The amount of variables is way too much and needs revising. It’s like they’re doing their best to have the least pass mark possible. I just don’t get it
March 11, 2022 at 5:09 pm #6510463 hours in this exam honestly is almost a suicidal mission. It is even more so considering ACCA is hellbent on throwing many and unnecessary curve balls. Throwing that many curve balls would make sense it the time allocated is appropriate. The pass mark reflects this and hasn’t improved for years. I wouldn’t be surprised if interest for the qualification wanes in the future as many of us would warn others not to go near it. So exhausted from the many resits because of this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
March 4, 2020 at 11:42 pm #564297@sheeidan01 I honestly hope ACCA considers our complaints. I literally failed to scroll to the last questions in the last 10 minutes, kept clicking away and got one of the invigilators to try, she couldn’t hack it either. I basically just watched the clock tick away from 7 to 0 mins. Beyond a nightmare!
March 4, 2020 at 8:27 pm #564269@shoban I had that problem as well, lost 5 minutes at the very end of exam. I couldn’t scroll past the page I was on no matter how much I tried. ACCA in my opinion should give more time and take this in consideration with CBE. Especially with issues of formulas as well. For such a time pressure paper the last thing one needs is go to battle with Excel or scrolling. It was such an ordeal that I wish I could make a formal complaint.
