July 6, 2023 at 10:03 am #687704“Can anybody please share your OBU thesis project as a sample with me? I am going to submit for Nov 2023. Please help!! I don’t know how to write or what to write. Literally blank.
Email : tahniatjawaid@gmail.com”I don’t think you should ask for a sample from anybody else. It is against the plagiarism policy of OBU that one either asks for a sample or provides another person with their own sample.
Try to refrain from asking these questions. And please read the materials and guidelines published by OBU themselves.
It’s called cheating that you request samples from other OBU students/graduates.
April 17, 2023 at 12:12 am #68278375% on my first attempt! This was my last exam too. Completely ecstatic.
March 23, 2023 at 4:03 pm #681706Hey bro,
You have any email or any contact info I can reach out to? Perhaps I can have some useful suggestions for you.
March 22, 2023 at 9:53 am #681652Did you directly copy and paste the contents of any external sources or projects of former OBU students into your RAP without paraphrasing the contents and making relevant citations? If so, the similarity rate arising after the paper being checked by turnitin is likely to be signiciantly high, giving a red flag for a potential plagiarism.
Be prepared to explain yourself and provide any necessary documentation proving that the work is original and authentic and completely your own work.
January 26, 2023 at 4:35 pm #677405Thanks, Trephena, for the clarification.
I just checked the website. There will be one in October 2023 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Hopefully, P43 graduates will be invited to this event.
January 24, 2023 at 3:50 pm #677302Hi Trephena,
Will there be one for P43 Graduates? We have been waiting since March 2022 and are also expecting an event of celebration for our hard work invested in the degree.
January 16, 2023 at 2:10 am #676290Passed at my first attempt with 65.

to meDear Tin Nguyen
Our international graduation ceremonies in Kuala Lumpur and Dubai remain paused until such time as they can be held without risk to students and staff. You will appreciate that flying hundreds of students and their families from dozens of countries to congregate for an entire day presents greater risks and challenges than some other everyday activities.
We are very much looking forward to restarting them as they are a highlight of our year, and most importantly of course, for our graduates too. You will receive an update when the situation changes, from accagraduation@brookes.ac.uk, to whom future enquiries should be addressed.
Best wishes”
This is what the ACCA-OBU department replied to my inquiry in regard to possible graduation ceremonies in the future.
Guess that we still have to wait.
October 17, 2022 at 12:11 am #668848Passed with 67%

September 15, 2022 at 6:07 pm #666508Here is an extract of my answer to the question:
“30% of the customers purchasing data communications from DCS are from outside Prydain where the currency is devaluing against Prydian’s dollar. The appreciation of Prydain’s dollar against the foreign currency renders the components exported by DCS more expensive compared to similar products sold in the devaluing current at the local market and less likely to attract customers from the country where the components are exported, negatively impacting revenue of DCS. The revenue decline by 6.1% from 2014 to 2015 may be due to the low competitiveness of DCS’s exported components in regard to price arising from the devaluation of the foreign currency against Prydain’s dollar.”
1. I drew from the facts of 30% foreign sales and devaluing currency and then made a point about sales decline. Is it the valid way the analysis should run to earn me 2 marks for this point?
2. I also drew the actual revenue decline rate from the financial report exhibit to back up my argument. Will that earn me 1 professional skill mark for evaluating?
Thanks
Tin Nguyen

Thanks, Ken. Very clear answer!

That would be the marks indicated on the transcripts for the courses. In regard to conversion scale, it depends on the particular scales adopted by different institutions. However, it would look something like this:
June 26, 2022 at 10:29 am #659327The transcript only includes the courses that you passed, not the ones that you failed. And it is indicated on the transcripts which marks you have gained on passing the courses. The marks are only applicable to BL, PM, FR, AA and FM. If your BL is exempted, the transcript is likely to indicate “credit entry” in the mark section. For the first 3 courses (BT, FA, and MA), the credit entry is indicated in the mark section. Hope this helps.

The advanced taxation paper is a significantly large paper in and of itself and you can be tested on taxation material. However, many people will have to revise taxation, especially if they have not studied it for a while. I would use this website’s lecture videos and notes to study UK taxation before embarking on Advanced taxation study. This might take a significant amount of time. Believe someone indicated there are around sixty hours of video lectures for this subject. After you have done this you can study advanced taxation. The overall process will be a big task but should be possible. Hope this helps.
Thanks, mrjonbain. That clears up a whole lot of my concerns. Now I know what needs to be done to pass the ATX.

March 23, 2022 at 7:57 am #651712I just received an email. Passed with a B grade and Upper Second Class Honor. Extremely happy with the result.
March 23, 2022 at 5:56 am #651694I am still waiting.
March 22, 2022 at 4:50 pm #651643Yes, this is a response from OBU regarding my inquiry.
