Depends on your determination and self-descipline. F5 is no joke like you rightly said that the passing rate is low. If you fully did and understood F2 maybe you can self study but many people still struggle with F5 yet they did F2.I suggest you do serious exam kit revision irregardless of whether you self study or do tuition.
