Hello Fellow OT students,
Thank you for your wishes
Tamim,
As I had to give 10 exam in all minus all the exemptions.
I appeared for 3 exams in June 2013, 4 in december 2013 and finally 3 in June 2014.
Sheree,
I was good at F7, and scored 75 in my attempt. You should definitely start OT now, its a blessing. To be honest you should give yourself more than 3 months. Start early will sure help in getting great score
Regards

Also just a recommendation for P3 rely on OT notes and lectures. Then move on to the revision lectures and finally any good revision kit for solving past year question. No need to fret over scary study texts.Take care
August 15, 2014 at 6:18 pm #190439Thank you Mike Sir once again. I hope to keep you proud in future.
@Gabriel Yes ACCA sent me an email to confirm the same. To be frank I relied on Opentuition lectures, OT Notes and thorough practice of BPP revision kit(atleast twice) . You should focus on P2 more than P1 and P3.August 8, 2014 at 1:11 am #187902Thank you John Sir, Mike Sir and the whole team of OT. I am an ACCA affiliate with following marks:
P2: 90
P4: 74
P2: 68I owe my success of completing Acca in three attempts (including 4 exemptions) solely due to God, opentuition and my hardwork

@neilsolaris @judams Actually I do have bpp books…but after reading OT lectures and gng thru the notes, I resort to only few chapters from study text for further understading (critical ones only) I ave never gone thru the whole book (only 2- 3 chapters). However I make a point to do the whole of revision kit i.e. (90 odd questions atleast twice before exams). I have never studied from Kaplan and don’t intend too as far as I am concerned BPP is decent.
@KeshaM Hi Kesha studying without coaching is in my opinion better. I just shared the technique I used in this post itself. See few pages back.February 9, 2014 at 9:55 am #157205@neilsolaris I work for EY . Yes u can do it. Give P1 & P3 to start with they are pretty easy ones
February 9, 2014 at 9:42 am #157198@neilsolaris Thank you for your blessings. I feel working in a company which supports your education in terms of leaves (Minimum of at least 20 days for each paper) will help you. On the contrary if the industry pressure is a lot then it will not help in exams rather can hamper your progress. Maybe you should see the kind of job and industry condition before going for a job and until then for June 2014 think of giving 2 papers. I am pretty sure with support of OT lecture and Bpp revision kit you can excel.
Regards
February 9, 2014 at 9:06 am #157181@Tyler thank you for your blessings. Tyler I did not take any classes or tuition neither in group nor individual. I just used to take 2 months off before exams from my company (a big 4 firm)
February 9, 2014 at 3:58 am #157113@spanishroyal & @melody : I got 93 % not 97 % (in case you were talking about me.)
Plan of action was;
>Completing OT lectures, notes atleast 2 months before exams.
>For the next 15 days doing OT revision lectures, OT practice questions & study text questions given at back(around 30 questions) from BPP
>Finally for the next month or so doing revision kit for the exams. Practicing all the questions from the kit (usually they are north of 70 question ) from BPP.
>Finally, having an attitude that “Yes I can & I will”Cheerio and thank you for your blessings

August 12, 2013 at 10:15 am #137672August 10, 2013 at 5:47 pm #137425@karatela Congratulations first of all….My advice will be atempt F5 with F9 . I back my proclamation by 2 points:
1.Both F7 and F9 require hard work however F7 requires much indepth knowledge of IFRS with some critical topics like consolidtion on the other hand F9 has some topics which I am sure you would have been aware of in past. like capital budgeting, cost of capital etc2. Dates
Monday 2 December F5 Performance Management
Wednesday 4 December F7 Financial Reporting
Friday 6 December F9 Financial Management
you will get a good break in F5 and F9 combination.
all the best
