I thought Q1 was relatively fair, other than the tricky IHT value which I hadn’t done anything on really either.
I then attempted Q2, Q4, before leaving Q3 until last.
The lack of choice between questions threw me slightly, I definitely didn’t do well on Q3 I thought it was horrible.
I also hadn’t really done anything on CFC’s so just guessed that one.
I thought the R&D question was tricky also, I couldn’t really work out what they were actually asking?
My initial thought when I came out was that I hadn’t quite done enough but wasn’t too disheartened as I would keep it fresh and do it in September alongside my Strategic Business Leader exam but I’m absolutely gutted to find out this morning that ACCA UK have changed their exam days and they’ll be on the same day in September so I can only sit one.
I was due to start my SBL course tomorrow night but I haven’t got a clue what to do now
I failed with a 45, absolutely gutted as I was getting over 70 in some of the mocks.
I don’t know if anybody on here could help me with a couple of things; (if anybody could help I’d really appreciated)
1. In all the mocks I was doing the 35 mark question at the start was usually split into 3 parts such as 20, 10 and 5. However in the exam it was just one big 35 so I struggled to allocate the time to each part.
I think this may be why I failed, does anyone know why ACCA did this or was it due to me doing a different variant on the mocks?
2. I was studying with BPP prior to my March sitting but they’ve now taken away all my online materials.
The biggest part of P7 study for me was getting my written questions marked/assessed but now I won’t have this option due to BPP disowning me (lol!) Does anybody have any suggestions on how to get my papers marked by a learning provider as a one off service?
