You got the point perfectly. Thanks a lot. You were more than a mentor during my course. I’m going to submit it today. I have exceeded the word limit by 100 words. Now tailoring it for the last time. If you have any last minute tips, please let me know.

    Dear @trephena

Thanks for the reply. I visited the link and completed my references list. But I haven’t found one issue there. How can i refer any data used in the appendix?
I have used market share price from stock exchange Web site to calculate p/e ratio. But didn’t mention it anywhere. Where and how should I mention it?

    Dear @trephena
thanks for some very useful reply. I was about to ask some questions but i found the answers already in the post.
I still have some query related to appendix and referencing.

Q1: is it appropriate to state both fs and ratio for one company within one tab in excel? or should i use different tab for ratios?

Q2: I have included 4 years FS in appendix as growth rates are calculated based on previous year. is it ok?
should I include any interim FS beside this 4 years? as my company’s and competitors year end are 31 dec and 31 march respectively.

Q3: I have some specific questions related to referencing. before asking any, would you please provide the link of the Harvard referencing forum where you wrote about this issue?

My problem is only with the 2012’s SOCI (which is not given in 2014’s restatement, rests are given). I can’t calculate the restated figure of provision and depreciation charged in 2012 with the opening (restated) figure of 2013. That’s why I’m using the previous audit report for the 2012.

Are you suggesting to do the same thing? Using the previous FS (not restated) for 2012 and restated for 2013 & 2014? And then mention it as an assumption?

Sorry. I didn’t get it in right way. would you please explain it again (mentioning the years to use)?
