MY ACCA STORY:I know Acca can be frustrating particularly when you are battling with a single paper for years. The journey of my Acca was beyond imagination. I planned to finished Acca within 2-3 years, but i must tell you i finished at the time limit which is 10years, though i missed a whole year. which mean i wrote ACCA for 9years.
I have been battling with APM since June 2013 scoring marginal scores which is 40-49. Although, some years i didn’t do full diet. After December 2015 that i didn’t passed APM, I switched to ATX(Advanced tax) with the hope it would be better, unfortunately it wasn’t better after writing it three times (Dec.2016, June &Sept 2017). Then i said to myself let me go back to APM because time was not on my side any more.
March 2018, I wrote APM again the exam was fantastic for me i was so sure i would pass, unfortunately when the result came i failed. I was so angry to the point i requested for administrative review, same story same score no changes. September 2018, i wrote again still failed, but the score was marginal.I was scared because i have an already passed paper which is P2 now SBR at risk.
I was confused, devastated but i still hope in God. A friend of mine advised me to attend those intensive class. I did findings on it, so i proceed. The lecture was so helpful because i got new insight to the best way and format to tackle the exam.
I went for the exam December 2018 at a point in the exam i was confused, i wasn’t sure if i was given what the examiner what he want. After the exam, i couldn’t stop praying to God for his mercy and intervention.
Here comes January 14,2019 the result was released i was so scared, i couldn’t checked it, my stomach didn’t stop rumbling. Finally, i checked the result and i was so happy when all i can see is passed. I passed with 56% so grateful to God for it.
Moral Lesson:
1. Don’t give up on your dream be persistent
2. Always remember you are not a failure but it is circumstance that fails
3. Keep up the good attitude of you can..
4. At the end you will excel…To those who are yet to qualify, pls don’t give up. Keep persevere you will surely win… All the best.
A big thank you to open tuition cos there materials is always helpful….
God be with you alllllACCA story is almost 8 years gone. Though I missed few setting and I have very struggling life to live with my big family and less earnings.
