    Did I miss something in the question that has already stated the 3.8% yield curve bond is zero coupon bond?

    Besides, is the yield curve that is the discounted factor equivalent to the interest rate of the bond? Thx!

    May I ask if my method of estimation of Tisa Co Ke is correct?
    Step1,calculate total Vd & Ve of Elfu Co
    Step2,calculate Ve & Vd of other activities
    Step3,calculate Ve & Vd of component production
    Step4,calculate asset beta based of total company of Elfu Co and other activities
    step5,since asset beta of the total company is a average weighted asset beta,then calculate asset beta of component production
    Step6,using step5 result to get equity beta of Elfu co
    Step7,by CAPM,estimate Ke of Elfu co
    Step8,using Ke of Elfu co to get WACC of Tisa co

    I am a little confused that on step6&7,two companies hv the similar business risk,they hv the same asset beta or equity beta?

    Thanks n congrats,tyc7700.actually P5 was my first attempt in Jun.i am frightened by the pass rate and my pity study buddy failed three times.on the other hand,i am concerned that switching to P6 means tons of memorizing material and practices to me.i would like to read throught P6 textbook and then decide which one i will take in Dec.
