Self studying as many people are saying requires a great deal of discipline on your part such that you can stick to your reading programme. Getting a tutor does not guarantee you that what he says is going to stick in your head, you have to go home and study yourself.
On top of that ACCA does not play hide and seek, they recommend reading material for you, past exam papers with tips and common pitfalls faced by students are clearly explained.
I have been studying on my own from F1 to P1 now I am taking P2 and P3. Studying on your own actually gives you the freedom to understand the module the way you want it and in your own words which is very helpful to your own understanding
