How did this go?

I have just read through your post with interest. I am in a slightly similar position. I am 40yo with 2 children and I have passed F1-F8 and attempting F9 in summer. I have a Business Studies degree and have experience of working in purchasing, marketing, sales/Account Management along with finance monitoring in public sector. Whilst in university I was running a small self employed enterprise around my lectures and subsequently I narrowly missed out on a 2:1 degree and attained a 2:2. This was after having worked for 7 years as a Business Studies teacher in secondary school.
It has taken me a long tie to find my niche in life and I absolutely love working with figures, producing and analysing accounts but I am passionate about business too. I believe I have a good commercial acumen and coupled with my Accounting studies thought that I would be an attractive prospect for an employer but I have really struggled to gain a relevant position. I have the 3+ years time served experience in a relevant finance role but going forwards I need to have the experience relevant to studies with a mentor to enable me to meet the PER objectives.
I am plodding on regardless and continuing studies but feel disappointed that I have had a lack of interest. Is it down to my age? I am starting to wonder should I try registering with an agency for temp accounts positions to get my foot in the door so to speak.

On the cover page of the answer booklet, you have to mark the questions you attempted; I forgot to do that! Will that make any difference?I did the same on Monday and phoned ACCA and they assured me that the examiners manually check if computer cant read marks or in my case I marked two question numbers at top of page as I made mistake initially and wanted to make sure I drew attention to it by marking another question.

$121.61?I got $121 too!
I thought the exam was fine, hated the balanced scorecard question though (hoping they give me 4 marks for remembering headings!!)and did not recall how to calculate value of obtaining Perfect Information on the decision tree question.
