October 19, 2020 at 12:31 am #589987Didn’t receive congratulatory email however passed and am now an affiliate. Its been a long agonising weekend but I am finally done!!!
October 18, 2020 at 9:54 pm #589843I’ll be staying up. I’ve been anxious all weekend and have made myself ill. There is no way I’ll be able to sleep until I know for certain.

Same
October 17, 2020 at 12:01 am #589393A fellow student who i studied with and who knew the syllabus inside out and who thought the exam also went well didn’t receive an email either so that has given me some comfort at least.
October 16, 2020 at 11:40 pm #589389I’m hoping so. This weekend is going to be long.
October 16, 2020 at 11:39 pm #589388I saw the green bar but now it has disappeared and it just says exam results will be released on Monday.
October 16, 2020 at 11:36 pm #589386I’m really anxious.
October 16, 2020 at 11:15 pm #589381The only hope is that maybe they recalled some emails and mine was one of those.
October 16, 2020 at 11:15 pm #589380Okay just realised that the above is inaccurate and that I would become an affiliate. I’m absolutely gutted about this I thought the exam went well.
October 16, 2020 at 10:49 pm #589379I am also a finalist; awaiting SBL results. I haven’t received any email from acca and I thought the exam went well. The only consolation I’m giving myself is that passing this exam wouldn’t have made me an affiliate because I have completed ethics, PER and time in role. Therefore once I pass I’m a member and perhaps the email was sent only to affiliates. That is what I’m telling myself through these tears. No idea how I’m going to sleep this weekend.
April 12, 2020 at 9:25 am #567255I’m awaiting SBL results this is my final paper and hoping desperately for a pass. The exam was terrible I studied the syllabus well I thought but none of what I studied came up! It was all very general. I believe if you have good business and commercial acumen you could have passed the exam without studying the actual syllabus. I found the questions so weird!
October 15, 2018 at 9:04 am #478321Passed with 55%. Thank you John. I used Kaplan for tuition and material but also used OT. I felt like OT gave me a better understanding and helped me pass this exam. Thank you John for breaking things down and explaining everything as well as you did,
March 9, 2018 at 5:39 pm #440562This exam wasn’t too bad but the whole CBE experience was a disaster which started off with the training centre having ‘technical problems’ which took an hour to resolve so we started our exam an hour later than planned. We were all cramped into a small room. We were given ear plugs but they didn’t really help and it was extremely difficult to concentrate with ten other people typing on their keyboards at the same time. I kept also making typing errors which I had to go back and correct which took up too much time and resulted in me not finishing the questions. We were told by our lecturer that there would be two monitors provided and paper as well. neither of these were provided so overall a very poor experience. Not looking forward to F9 & F5 CBEs.

January 15, 2018 at 11:48 am #429966Try again, you’ll get there, took me 4 attempts!
January 15, 2018 at 11:47 am #429965To those who weren’t successful, please don’t give up. I passed on my fourth attempt, and the last time I got 49%!
Chin up. Go again.
January 15, 2018 at 11:46 am #429963Passed with 54% fourth attempt.

Your answer is incorrect.
This is how i would do:

12,000,000 x 0.78 (year 3) 9,360,000
