i have listen to your lecture in regards to standard costing, i know how to calculate basic variance analysis. my problem is with further variance analysis. i jusst cant get the concept in calculating actual production, actual usage and so on. Is there any concept or formula u can share?

what concept they ask for?

opening inventory- 200 ( 70% complete) = 60 units
completed output- =2650 units
Closing inventory 500units ( 40% complete)=200untis
————-
2910 units

But barbara calculate the opening to be 140units, if that the opening the answer would be 2990 units. so which is correct?

How did they arrive at that answer?????

labour bugget: 460*18/60*8 1104 2160 (30/60*540*8)

= 3264

Hi re: this question’.isn’t the formula for calculating holding cost q/2* ch,so y in question 1 we used EOQ/2* ch to get 1000
