ACCA is highly regarded in the accounting world but this doesn’t make a whole lot of sense no matter what is on the website. I wonder if other tertiary level institutions accept this? ACCA is supposed to be a “professional” qualification. Reading the website they use words like: “equivalent to…” not “is”. Furthermore, in addition to writing a paper (did not specify a topic), plus another module, a certain University will “award” you a BSc (not a MSc). So you get an ACCA Certificate + a degree? I would say that’s a steal of a deal! When I was doing my MSc degree, the head of department said I couldn’t use courses from a Post graduate professional certificate (once awarded) to attain another qualification. ACCA should clarify this.
