51 and officially done with ACCA. Can’t even say I’m happy but just extremely relieved.
As far as I know it’s the same paper, just different thresholds for certain things. There are always different papers in every exam depending on whether you do it in the morning or afternoon.
Q1 audit risks and procedures, Q2 PFI report and Q3 was group audits. I thought the paper was fair enough apart from obscure things from the standards like discontinued operations. Hoping and praying I’ve done enough as I’m really not sure I have it in me to do it again
Passed by the skin of my teeth with 50. That was after getting 49 in a previous attempt. Delighted as I was convinced it was another fail
Yip there’s always different papers in all exams. It’s to stop those who do it in the morning giving answers to those doing it in the afternoon and similar story with those doing it in different time zones
More or less what I put too. I put that it starts with operating profit which is overall for the company rather than per product. For the calculation it was a bit unfair having us calculate WACC without giving us the formula. It’s been a while since I studied FM so that knowledge is long gone
Same as me! Q3 was on benchmarking and BPR.
I know my EVA calc in Q1 was way off49 gutted. I felt so confident coming out of that exam I really don’t know what else I could’ve done. Actually feel like giving up
Yeah that ABM question was just odd. They could not upgrade their systems and didn’t have sufficient or experienced staff to implement it so how do you get 16 marks out of that? I just wrote how it would be beneficial by linking in with each inefficiency in the scenario and then said without being able to invest in systems you basically can’t do it.
