49 marks – bitterly disappointed. I was pretty confident on this exam….I’d rather they mark me down than end with 1 mark away.

Is there any point of doing a administrative review? Whats the likely hood they’ve marked it wrong with this being partly CBE….I really don’t want to do this again.

that was horrible! I sat the afternoon exam.

I mainly used BPP revision kit for my preparation and felt the questions on BPP are a lot simpler in comparison to what is in ACCA.

this sucks. I have another exam on friday and i’m doubting everything ive learned via BPP’s kit is enough to pass this exam.

    Thanks John.

Just a follow up question on the final point; Is there a recommended approach when presenting my workings? For example, equations and numbers within 1 cell, showing workings next to my answer or presenting my workings on a different tab entirely (if another tab exists).

    I’m aiming to do F5 F7 and F9 – I’ve started yesterday.

I want to know this too

I believe it maybe because they worded it as “Start of each year” – same wording as when they’re describing the initial investment which normally falls on Year 0. Therefore the -131 falls in Year 0.

The final 544 balances it to 0.

    Need some clarifications however,

    Understood! Thanks.

Complete hypothetical and it’s something that I’m not planning to do but – if I wanted to sit for example, P1 but I haven’t passed F7, I’ll be eligible to sit and pass P1 if I book F7 exam too but fail it?

    Thanks.

Offtopic, what is the bare minimum examiners are looking for with regards to referring to case names? For example: “Ramsgate Victoria Hotel” be enough? Or will I have to quote the full “Ramsgate Victoria Hotel vs Montefiori”?
