Is it enough to just name the points to the question ” why related parties are difficult to identify ?? Is there a requirement to explain ?
I wrote bullet points I think it itself clearly conveys why
June 3, 2019 at 4:03 pm #518595Can someone discuss answer to answers to all questions in bullet points?

June 22, 2018 at 5:03 pm #459731May I also know which text will be best for SBR for the students who are self studying? Kaplan or BPP?
June 22, 2018 at 4:27 pm #459729SBR is easier compared to p2 ?? I went through the SBR specimen and exam pattern looks same as to P2 paper. May I know what makes SBR different from P2 that requires you to buy new SBR revision kit?

October 25, 2017 at 8:05 am #413129I was asking interest rate option questions where we will be asked to give a recommendation/advise to a particular company after all option calculation has been done .We may be asked to advise suitable hedge option if interest rate hikes or lowers.Assume in question they asked to suggest a suitable hedge strategy for X co among Futures, Interest rate options, collar. At the end of the calculation we are required to find an effective rate for the respective hedge option. so what recommendation should we give based on effective rate for borrowing /deposit ?
i think we should recommend lower effective interest rate if company intends to borrow since hedging cost can be cheaper and higher effective rate good option of hedge if company deals in deposits .Am I right?hope i made it clear
July 24, 2017 at 12:55 pm #398397Okay will do . 🙂
July 24, 2017 at 8:46 am #398315Thank you so much for taking an effort to make me understand.Yes I dropped p3.I will just do the things what you have advised me ; practising under exam condition .I never tried because I was always afraid to. 😛
July 23, 2017 at 12:59 pm #398223hi, i got 39 for p4. I haven’t started learning p4 yet.I know where i struggled so this time i will probably focus on it.I think I can finish revising p4 in few days as I had revised four times before i had appeared for exam.I guess my memory is still fresh. I took past paper from 2009-2017 .Will read again and make crisp points.Revision kit is too huge.I doubt if i can finish. So considering all what i said now,you advise me to drop p3 .Isnt it? actually how many months required to appear 3 p papers at one go?
July 18, 2017 at 4:43 am #397232I have watched all your lectures except p4 what you mention question1 past questions. So you think I shouldn’t resit .I havent tried two paper at a sitting, gona try it first time .P3 yet to start from scratch
July 17, 2017 at 1:20 pm #397053thank you 🙂 i got 39 🙁 time pressure …couldnt even get enough time to understand first question ::(
June 5, 2017 at 8:40 am #390456i can do either ways right? I mean instead of giving an working for tax ,directly taking its impact on cash flow?
June 1, 2017 at 4:57 pm #389509thank you,you made it simple .The calculation in bpp looks complicated ,they have added and then divided… :/
May 26, 2017 at 5:26 am #388136I went through Q2 of mock exam 2, aren’t the ones given tabular format in question the strike price? ( 1.45, 1.46, 1.47)
either we can convert it at spot or exercise and claim back the difference so shouldn’t be like selling put option at strike price 1.45 and spot on 3month is 1.435 ie; (1.45-1.435) *95 contracts * 31250 / 1.4386. The answer what they have worked out is taking strike price 1.435, isn’t strike price always the selling price? :/
and yes I have seen your lectures on similar problem and you have taken strike price as selling price of put.
May 25, 2017 at 5:38 pm #388089Oh, thanks for bringing that to notice. I got confused when this two were asked. How can I avoid such confusions in the exam?
May I ask in MOCK exam 3, Q 2) it said in next 6 months Massie will receive 25 euro so doesn’t it mean March contracts should be purchased (6 months from September ) so it can protect any fall/increase in the interest rate during that period? or is it always the month that falls after investment month in both cases? ( interest rate option cases and Future ??)
May 12, 2017 at 3:57 pm #385989thank you:)
