Finally passed on my 3rd attemp with 55% I don’t care I am very happy its a PASS. One more to go then I’m free. Congrats to all thoses who passed for those of you who did not get the result you wanted trust me do not give up. These exams are not designed to be easy, nothing worth it in life is meant to be easy. Just take a moment clear you mind and apply today for the Sept sittings.
I feel I need to make a point for those of you who feel you need to brag about passing with only a few days worth of study. Firstly I very much doubt this is even possbile. The ACCA exam are desgined to be tough for a reason, they also have a very high standard and you are expected to put in the time and effort. please do not try to take anything away from thoses students who like myself poor blood sweat and tears into there studies. It also makes little difference to whether you pased 1st or 5th attemp so what!!! I’ve passed papers on my 1st attemp but I’ve found that knoweledge is so quickly lost Personally the more you study for a paper the more knoweldge you gain. Anyway rant over. 🙂
July 18, 2016 at 10:19 am #326879So happy I have finally passed this paper. I was not expecting a pass but so thankful, this is a good day indeed. For those who did not get the results they wanted do not give up.
I have been where you are now, failing with 47% so heart breaking but I stuck it out and turned my fail into a PASS.April 25, 2016 at 1:38 pm #312626Hi I will also be caught out by the 2017 session. On my last check my ACCA informs me that my last session will be June 2017. I have 4 papers left and have been left extremely worried thinking I will lose all my previous passes. I made the decision to speak directly with ACCA today.
People do not fear!ACCA have confirmed the 10 year rule is not in effect. It has been replaced with a 7 year rule. Basically the 7 year rule starts from the date you pass your first P paper.
Take me as an example. I passed my first and only P paper in 2014, this means I have 7 years from 2014 to pass all my papers (2021) If for any reason I do not pass all my papers I will have to re take the P paper I passed in 2014 (before the rule came into effect)Note the F papers have no time limit!!

June 20, 2011 at 4:31 pm #84907I just read some comments and I need to say It’s nothing to do with how intelligent you are it’s how much you put into studying. I always try to put 100% into my study yet still this paper threw me.
You can never second guess what will come up it is best to try to cover all areas which I did try to but some parts were still stuff. Never mind it’s not the end of the world can always re take.
June 15, 2011 at 3:02 pm #84871I’m so glad other people found this paper hard. I am so upset I studied really hard yet the stuff I knew like the back of my hand did not come up. What was with flexed budgets and pay off table. I did all the past papers going back to 2008 they never examined those areas. What was the point in them going on and on about the new stuff EMA & CVP only to not include them in this paper. Im so gutted as I know I have failed Arrggggg
