I understand, the course works can be challenging, you really need to spend a lot of time reading and picking up the important topics to focus on…the SFM exam was very difficult, result will come out in Feb 2018. Didn’t even complete the last questions. I certainly learned a lot from doing it, but it’s not an easy course to do. Hope I did enough to get a pass.I think if you can manage to pass, the degree is worth having.
Have you completed the other one ? Or is this your First Module ? If you dont mind sharing, could you tell us what EXACTLY came up in the exam ? It was my understanding that there will be no exams, only assignments and Projects ?

February 16, 2015 at 1:45 pm #228597Hey, Is there anyone still there in this Diploma ? Anyone doing it ?
June 5, 2013 at 11:58 am #129326Lets see…
So what i have read so far is:Q1: You have a pretty good chance to score some decent marks, say 25 to 28 marks out of a possible 35. (Although i have not shown the ratios calculations on the answer sheet, but on the Q paper)
Q2: Part a went well, cant say for the b part because i had started to run out of time. So i would assume… 14- 15 ?
Q3. I Suppose i may have made some normal errors when writing, but i did identify the IASs, the Materiality and the gave proper audit procedures as well as evidences. 12 to 14 i hope ?Q5….
Gotta be honest, this Question really took me down. Not only i was short of time, i missed alot of points in b and c.
Gave entirely irrelevant answers in b and c, especially c. so lets say… 6 to 8.So if i mark myself according to what i think i may get, i SHOULD Score 54 to the lowest to 63 highest ?
Then again, this is me.
Hope the Examiner clears my paper !! I’ll send her a thank you note ! hahaAugust 22, 2012 at 9:42 pm #104296Want to be a part of it.

I will be attempting P5 for the 1st time and it would be really good if i am able to clear the exam on the first go. Considering i have P2 as well as P7 to tackle with them, i would need your help regarding thus:1. The Books ? You said BPP… How is Kaplan ??
2. Time Allocation ? I have been unable to decide how much i should give time to P5 considering the other 2 Heavy hitting papers i have.
3. Wise Man Tips ?? I have read them above but i am sure you would not mind repeating them ?? 🙂
4. Can somebody please send me the papers from 2003 onwards ?Hope to hear your response soon !!

Azfar – pay NO attention to People who say to make up a case name! NEVER make up a case name! If you can’t remember a name – put “in a decided case” If you can remember one of the names put “in the case concerning Nestle”. If you can’t remember either name do not make up a name nor put in your answer _______ v _______. That way, you are highlighting your lack of knowledge!
Ideally, you would know the case name in full, but let’s be realistic!
In addition, do not even try to remember the year of the case – totally irrelevant!
In the exam, state the principle of law and the ( in brackets ) state the case which you are quoting as authority. “Facts” of cases are almost always irrelevant. If you listen to the OT podcasts, most of the cases are “embellished” by questionable “facts”. The point of telling the story is to give you something memorable to help you learn the principle of law.
