Passed with 50. Had 48 on APM during Dec session and 52 on AAA, retook APM and can proudly say that my journey is over. My heart is racing and I still can’t believe it, good luck to everyone!!!

I always took one paper per exam session, but decided to try two once I reached the P-level exams. I took SBL/SBR in September 19 (a mix of theoretical exam – SBL and practical – SBR), passed them both 54 and 62. Decided to give it another go in order to finish faster with remaining exams and took AAA/APM in December (was more difficult since both rely more on practical things rather than theory compared to SBL/SBR), passed AAA with 52, but failed APM with 48. Resit APM in March and hopefully I’ll get the good news in April 🙂

I think if you have free time and can focus on studies, you should be focusing one taking a mix of theoretical and practical exams to pass them faster. The mentor at the company I started said he took F7+F8 (FR+AA) and F5+F6 (PM+TX) combined because there were only two sessions when he was passing them in the past. Even though we have four sessions today, taking two exams per session increases your chances to pass them faster and gives you some leeway. If you pass 1 out of 2 exams, you’re already in the + (you passed 1 exam as you would have passed if you only took 1 + you have a lot of knowledge for the second one, for which you need to revise the materials and not invest a lot of time in studying from 0).

This is my personal experience so take it with a grain of salt as always 🙂 it’s good to sit down and think what is your end goal – finish ACCA whenever or finish ACCA faster?
