The exam was okay. In section c I got SOFP as well and ratios with performance assessment of two clothing companies. Section b wasn’t bad but section a was a little difficult.
I got the exam with relevant costing and building block, although it was fairly easy the section an and b had a lot of calculations without options majority was fill in questions. The exam was also quite lengthy.
Yes that’s it I got a corp tax for seven month period. Had to calculate the tax adjusted profits, corp tax liability and I think there was something about trading loss and capital loss.
It was pretty tough. Tax planning question was a mix of CGT & IHT. Luna and Moon ltd partnership was a little hard. How did you calculate Luna’s income tax?
That was awful section A and especially section B had such difficult questions nothing like any past papers.
Section C was completely different.
This exam was designed to failSection B on CGT was not my favorite, majority were on gift holdover, investor and business asset
It wasn’t bad but unfortunately I didn’t pay much attention to admin dates (sigh).
Practicing pass papers and noting specific layouts to answering certain questions.
