I decided against it since no one had even heard its name, and because it had a negligible presence on sites like Linked-In.

Third attempt on P4. I will change to P5. This course is time pressured and the volume of calculations involved is killing. I regret doing P4 in the first instancei just want to say, don’t give up, if it is humanly possible, it is in your realm of possibility
March 31, 2015 at 6:33 pm #239704you certainly can, one of my friends completed this rap in 10 days but I would say there should be at least 40 days

March 25, 2015 at 5:53 am #238663Hi, I’m wondering whether the markers feedback is only given when you are unsuccessful or is it given regardless of what your outcome was?

November 15, 2014 at 2:34 pm #210229Hi everyone I’m really confused about the word count. Does the word count display in MS Word include the words in graphs and tables? If not how do you calculate these words?
November 10, 2014 at 9:27 pm #208916@trephena thanks and yes of course it goes deeper than thatthat. Thanks for clarifying that i don’t have to include the notes.
November 10, 2014 at 7:13 pm #208899@trephena but in my analysis i have also taken information from notes to the account
November 10, 2014 at 2:56 pm #208822about file size limits, in the info pack it says the total size of submitted files is 10mb but how can you upload financial statements within that size limit because most of them are coloured pdf files and for example for the company i’m doing rap even parts of it like notes to accounts for single year are in 5-15mb range. any advice on this?
November 5, 2014 at 6:54 pm #207869i wanted to ask about duplication. lets say i have mentioned why sales have decreased in gross profit margin ratio in depth then do i need to explain again in net profit margin why sales have decreased in as much detail or doing it just once is sufficient ?
November 3, 2014 at 8:15 pm #207568I think I have somewhere between 95-100 references, though some of them might get removed as I try to trim the word count
November 3, 2014 at 6:28 pm #207550hi @trephena what if i don’t mention like “CEO XYZ” if taken from CEO’s report or chairman report specifically instead I just mention like “XYZ Annual Report 2012”?
October 31, 2014 at 9:34 am #206959October 30, 2014 at 1:41 pm #206835Hi. I’m kind of confused as to what extent should i take referencing? I mean lets say i wanna comment on recievable days that they are decreasing and could be as a result of tighter policies and early payment incentives(since i can’t find out for certain whether they’re actually were tighter polcies through secondary data) but now this is common knowledge, am I required to give reference to this comment as well?
October 21, 2014 at 7:07 pm #205309@trephena thanks for replying but the issue here is non of the analyst reports for that particular year have analyzed NPM in any detail. They have details about GPM and sales etc but barely anything on NPM
October 21, 2014 at 5:43 pm #205289Hi everyone, I’m also going with topic 8 but ran into a problem, hope i can get some help here.
So the issue is I’m finding it hard to find any sources for net profit margin for items like gain on revaluation of investments staff training, canteen costs! So should i as a last resort choose financial report as a reference for this or should i try to source some general factors which can affect net profit like inflation etc? And what other factors are there which can effect NPM other than those listed specifically in P&L account?September 4, 2014 at 1:20 pm #193655where are you from?
September 3, 2014 at 3:53 pm #193504I might be wrong but as far as I remember the purpose of e is to “discount”. i.e take account of time value of money. And I don’t think you need to know how to calculate e, all you have to do is put those digits in calculator ( e^t*s)
August 16, 2014 at 10:32 pm #190604So this is obviously not applicable to people who have passed f4 before it turns to cbe right? I mean if a person passed f4 like 2 years ago theirs will be accepted as a proof of proficiency in English right?
August 9, 2014 at 6:26 pm #189011While we’re on the subject, John allow me to thank you as well. You have indeed played a part in helping me pass my p4 exam with great marks and as a result become an affiliate. Not only your forum answers and lectures were great subject wise but also by reading your answers alone I came to realize that p4 is an art not a science and this realization has played the biggest part in my success in p4.
So once again Thanks a trillion.

June 27, 2014 at 6:18 pm #177786I’ve seen it on online bpp website they have this book to help students prepare thesis, has anyone ever used it? And what are your impressions of it? Was it helpful and finally what does it include?
