You should apply for mitigating circumstances. Hopefully if you are close to 50%, they might give you few marks and pass you.
April 19, 2022 at 10:25 am #653887Pass 50% second attempt. So so so close but so happy right now.
January 17, 2022 at 9:43 am #64659933% first attempt. I wasn’t prepared for it as my father passed away in September and I was still dealing with the loss. Will try again and pass in March. Fingers crossed.
July 19, 2021 at 7:07 am #628545My friend and I both were very nervous but both got 52% and passed in first attempt. Much relieved today.
April 12, 2021 at 12:14 pm #617245Passed second time 52%. I think I did great and would score a high mark but I barely passed it. But hey it is ACCA and a pass is an achievement in itself so I will gracefully take it.
Understanding financial statement assertions is a key to the substantive procedures question. Hope it helps anyone who reads my comment.
April 12, 2021 at 12:07 pm #617239Passed second time 55%. Really happy. Didn’t study enough in the first attempt, gave a good shot this time around. 🙂
March 2, 2021 at 4:42 pm #612726It was a repeat for me after I got 48 marks in December. This time around I completely understood what financial statement assertions are and which substantive procedures are done for each of them. The MCQ’s were challenging as usual and I missed 1 MCQ because I couldn’t manage my time properly. I am expecting over 65 marks this time. 🙂
January 18, 2021 at 11:32 am #606781Thank you for your kind words. Stay blessed.
January 18, 2021 at 11:30 am #606780First attempt – failed with 48%. I think I did very good in the theory questions but the MCQs probably let me down. Had I got one more MCQ correct, I would have passed. Time to focus again and have a strong effort for March exam now. Fingers crossed.
December 17, 2020 at 4:57 pm #600201I am also planning to do FR in March 2021 if I pass AA exam I have just done
October 20, 2020 at 3:07 pm #590810Hi if you had the transfer pricing question as a 20 marker then you and I both had the same exam paper. I got 55 and passed the exam. I have failed PM a good few times before finally passing it now. I got 49 in my march attempt and was heart broken too. My first suggestion to you is to not lose hope and start from fresh. I think what I did better this time which I would suggest you too, is to cover all syllabus and practice previous exam papers (and the practice kit obviously). The questions on practice kit are good for practice however the exam questions are more tricky compared to it. If you can understand those questions, practice them and cover all syllabus you will be able to pass next time. Understanding what is being asked is very important in providing the solution. Lastly PM is probably the toughest of F exams but taking any stress makes it more hard to pass. Start fresh, put the hard work in but do not panic. Hopefully you will pass it in December. Good luck.
