You have explained it really simply, allowing me to realise how much I didn’t understand what the question was asking.
I have a couple more questions:
1) Why must we use 3/60 in the second calculation?
2) Is this a common question and if so is there are general method for answering this type of question in the exam?Many thanks!

What exactly do you not understand about cluster sampling? Just before I answer coz otherwise I feel like I would just be repeating what has been said in the lecture notes on page 6 which explain it quite well to be honest
Hi dammy24. Please the the article below, it should help you but in a nutshell it suggests that if you are exempt from F1, then there’s no point in doing that paper again since the info in that paper doesn’t really come up again.
