Q1 was a nightmare. It threw me, badly written, and I just went blank. Definate fail. Was in tears at the end.

    Q 5, 2, 3, 1 in that order.

So annoyed as spent so long preparing for exam.

The deadline was yesterday and still no response from ACCA, yet they took payment over a week ago. I chased yesterday morning and they confirmed they would email by end of the day, but they didn’t. Doesn’t help my confidence in ACCA admin processes.

Has anyone else had a response?

Does anyone remember what the main parts of the cash flow were? I had depreciation, working captial, 8.5m loan, 4/5m leased plant, dividends ….?

Am praying for a pass!! I thought the questions were too long, the amount of information to read and then process was just too much!

I find it very confusing also. You are unlikely to have to calculate it, normally they will give you the old balance and new balance and then you charge the difference to the Income Statement.

Try reading this link to help. There is a good illustrated example:

Does anyone know the answer to the middle section of question 4?

Can we complain about the exam to ACCA?

Question 1 part A threw me! I got positive cashflows in both years so assumed I got it wrong and moved on. Quite annoyed because this was hardly covered on the BPP courses and notes. Can’t believe the examiner put that in as a 13 mark question!!!

Middle part of Question 4 dividend growth was also a problem – could work out how it worked with 3 years no dividend.

Not confident that I passed that. I thought the whole exam was a bit disjointed. It would be better is they changed the exam format to be like F7, with 2 specific questions i.e. WACC and NPV and the rest anything else from the syllabus.

    Bad exam!!!
